“Going green to make your home energy efficient” is the theme of the Palm Beach Home Show.
The event, to take place Oct. 8-10 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, will feature more than 400 exhibits focusing on home design, and products and services to help you remodel your home. Energy- and money-saving ideas include updating your air-conditioning system, installing a solar-power system and tinting windows with heat-blocking film, among others.
Admission is $9 for adults. Seniors will receive a two-for-one admission on opening day. Children 13 and younger are admitted without charge.
Hours are noon to 8 p.m. on Oct. 8, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 9 and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Oct. 10.
The convention center is at 650 Okeechobee Blvd., across from CityPlace, in downtown West Palm Beach.
